What is confirmation in the Blockchain network?

Whenever a User creates a transaction, it is cryptographically signed and sent to the network, waiting for the miner to validate it and add it to the blockchain. Bitcoin confirmations are blocks that miners add to the chain.

When a transaction is sent to the network from a wallet, it is not executed immediately. First, she enters the mempool, where she is considered to be waiting. Miners enter the pool and select transactions to be included in the next blockchain block. Each of them uses its own criteria. The transaction included in the block is removed from the mempool and is considered confirmed.
