What is the difference between USDT ERC20 and TRC20?

TRC20-USDT refers to the USDT issued on the TRON network, ERC20-USDT refers to the USDT issued by Tether on the Ethereum network. USDT issued on TRC20 and ERC20 are identical, however, transfer fees for this USDT can often be cheaper on the Tron network using TRC20.

The deposit addresses for them are always Ethereum addresses and these deposit/withdrawal transactions take place on the Ethereum network. The USDT-ERC20 protocol is an ERC20 protocol.
